She's a spunky little Australian with crazy curly blond-hair that she refuses to have combed. She greets me every morning with a huge hug, and a deep sigh, "mer, i need coffee!" (say your r's like w's and c's like t's). The first day I met her, she ran into the room to show me a fistful of her poop. I should have known that was only the beginning. She's a pistol. Things she thinks are funny: spitting, screaming, running in the opposite direction when I call her name, and pulling the husky's tails until they almost bite off her face. But then there are moments when she'll exclaim, "Cheers!" and clink her sippy cup against my water glass, or when the only thing in the world that will soothe her is a big ol' cuddle from me, her nanny.
Everyone, meet Lucy. Lucy, meet everyone.

I love Lucy! (Sorry, was that too obvious??)
And I love her Nanny! (That one clearly goes without saying...)
This picture is amazing, Mer (or Mew according to Lucy). What camera are you using now? I forgot to tell you what I used... right now it's a Canon S2IS. I'm on the verge of upgrading to something big and juicy and expensive...but I have to find the money first.
We need to chat soon...I mean like real life phone conversation with your beautiful voice. Miss you.
